Welcome to Orchid Hollow. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Orchid Hollow website, reservations, overnight accommodations, Farm Pass memberships, events, experiences, and other services offered by Orchid Hollow. By using this website, making a reservation or purchase, or participating in an activity at Orchid Hollow, you agree to these Terms.

Reservations and Payments
Reservations for overnight stays, Farm Pass visits, events, experiences, and other offerings are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed.
Prices, deposits, payment schedules, taxes, fees, and other applicable charges will be presented at the time of booking. By submitting payment information, you authorize Orchid Hollow and its payment processor to charge the applicable amounts associated with your reservation or purchase.
Guests are responsible for reviewing all reservation details before completing a purchase.

Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds
Cancellation, modification, and refund policies may vary depending on the accommodation, event, experience, Farm Pass membership, or other offering purchased.
The cancellation policy presented during the booking or purchase process will apply to that transaction. Guests are responsible for reviewing the applicable cancellation terms before completing a reservation.
Orchid Hollow reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations, activities, events, or access when necessary because of severe weather, unsafe conditions, property maintenance, emergencies, circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or other conditions that could affect guest safety or operations.
When Orchid Hollow cancels a paid reservation, available remedies will be communicated to the affected guest and may include rescheduling, a credit, or a refund, as appropriate to the circumstances and applicable booking terms.

Overnight Stays
Guests staying overnight at Orchid Hollow agree to respect the property, accommodations, furnishings, animals, natural areas, and neighboring properties.
Occupancy limits and other property-specific rules provided during booking or prior to arrival must be followed. The individual making the reservation is responsible for the conduct of all members of their party.
Guests may be responsible for damage beyond ordinary wear and tear caused by themselves or members of their party.
Check-in and check-out instructions, parking information, property rules, and any accommodation-specific requirements will be provided with the reservation or before arrival.

Farm Pass
Farm Pass provides access to Orchid Hollow subject to the benefits, restrictions, reservation requirements, guest privileges, and other terms associated with the applicable membership.
Farm Pass does not provide unrestricted or unscheduled access to the property. Visits must be reserved through the designated reservation system and are subject to availability.
Membership benefits, availability, pricing, guest privileges, seasonal amenities, and included experiences may change over time. Certain amenities or experiences may require additional reservations or fees.
Farm Pass memberships are personal and may not be transferred or resold unless expressly authorized by Orchid Hollow.

Property Access
Orchid Hollow is private property. Access is permitted only for registered guests, confirmed visitors, Farm Pass members with valid reservations, event attendees, or other individuals expressly authorized by Orchid Hollow.
Visitors must remain within designated guest areas and comply with posted signs, staff instructions, property rules, and any restrictions communicated before or during a visit.
Orchid Hollow reserves the right to refuse or revoke access when reasonably necessary to protect guests, animals, staff, property, or the peaceful enjoyment of other visitors.

Outdoor Activities and Assumption of Risk
Orchid Hollow is a working farm and rural outdoor property. Activities may include walking or hiking on natural terrain, fishing, swimming, use of outdoor recreational areas, interaction with or proximity to farm animals, bonfires, and other outdoor experiences.
These activities involve inherent risks, including uneven or slippery terrain, insects, wildlife, weather conditions, water hazards, farm equipment, fences, vegetation, fire, and the unpredictable behavior of animals.
By choosing to participate in activities or enter recreational areas, guests acknowledge these inherent risks and agree to exercise reasonable care and follow all posted rules and safety instructions.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors in their care at all times.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or liabilities that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Animals
Guests must not feed, enter enclosures with, approach, handle, ride, or otherwise interact with horses or other animals except when expressly permitted by Orchid Hollow.
Animals can behave unpredictably even when accustomed to people. Children must be closely supervised around all animals and animal areas.
Guests must follow all instructions provided by Orchid Hollow regarding animal interactions.

Fishing and Pond Access
Fishing and access to ponds, lakes, streams, or other bodies of water are subject to property rules, seasonal conditions, applicable laws, and any instructions provided by Orchid Hollow.
Guests are responsible for determining whether a fishing license or other authorization is required under Virginia law and for complying with applicable fishing regulations.
Water areas are natural environments and may contain uneven banks, slippery surfaces, changing water depths, wildlife, and other hazards. Children must be supervised closely around water.

Swimming Pool
When pool access is available, guests use the pool subject to posted rules, seasonal availability, hours, and any additional requirements communicated by Orchid Hollow.
Children must be actively supervised by a responsible adult. Guests should not assume that a lifeguard is present unless Orchid Hollow expressly states otherwise.

Events and Experiences
Events, workshops, gatherings, and other experiences may have additional terms regarding attendance, age restrictions, weather, cancellations, food and beverages, alcohol, equipment, or participation requirements.
Any additional terms presented when purchasing or registering for an event or experience become part of these Terms for that transaction.

Alcohol
Where permitted, guests who consume alcoholic beverages must be at least 21 years of age and comply with applicable Virginia laws and property rules.
Guests are responsible for their own conduct and consumption. Orchid Hollow reserves the right to restrict alcohol consumption or remove individuals whose conduct creates a safety concern or materially interferes with other guests’ enjoyment of the property.

Children and Supervision
Orchid Hollow welcomes families. Parents, guardians, and responsible adults are responsible for supervising children in their party at all times, particularly around animals, water, fires, wooded areas, farm equipment, and other outdoor environments.

Personal Property
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. To the extent permitted by law, Orchid Hollow is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal property unless the loss or damage results from conduct for which liability cannot legally be excluded.

Photography and Commercial Use
Guests are welcome to take personal photographs unless otherwise indicated.
Professional photography, commercial photography or videography, organized photo sessions, advertising shoots, or other commercial uses of the property require prior written permission from Orchid Hollow and may be subject to additional fees and conditions.

Website Use
The content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Orchid Hollow and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, republish, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission.
You agree not to interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt unauthorized access, use automated systems in a manner that disrupts the website, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

Third-Party Services and Links
The Orchid Hollow website may use or link to third-party services for reservations, payments, maps, social media, or other functions.
Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies. Orchid Hollow is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of independently operated third-party websites or services.

Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on the website accurate and current. However, availability, pricing, amenities, schedules, photographs, descriptions, and other information may change.
Photographs and descriptions are intended to provide a reasonable representation of the property and experiences but may not reflect seasonal conditions or every detail present at the time of a visit.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Orchid Hollow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, participation in activities, or use of the property.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Privacy
Information submitted through the website is handled in accordance with the Orchid Hollow Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms
Orchid Hollow may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to its services, policies, operations, or legal requirements.
The current version will be posted on this website with an updated effective date. Terms applicable to a specific reservation or transaction will also be subject to any additional terms presented when that transaction is completed.

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
